Senior Software Development Engineer We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our FortiWeb team, responsible for developing and maintaining the web-based management interface of our industry-leading Web Application Firewall (WAF) solution. This role requires expertise in modern Angular/React development combined with experience migrating legacy enterprise applications.Key responsibilities include:Leading the migration strategy from legacy frameworks to modern Angular 21+ and React 18+Designing and implementing micro-frontend architecture for multiple sub-applicationsBuilding scalable, observable state management solutions using RxJS and MobX/ReduxEstablishing frontend best practices and architectural patterns for the engineering teamCollaborating with backend teams to define API contracts and integration patternsWorking with UX/UI teams to implement enterprise design systemsPartnering with DevOps to optimize CI/CD pipelines and build performanceMentoring junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidanceRequired qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience8+ years of professional frontend development experience5+ years of hands-on experience with Angular (v14+) / React and TypeScriptProven track record of leading large-scale application modernization projectsCore competencies include:Hybrid Architecture Expertise: Experience with legacy and modern framework coexistenceMicro-frontend Architecture: Hands-on experience with micro-frontend frameworksEnterprise Application Patterns: Permission-based routing and role-based access control (RBAC)Security & Performance: CSRF/XSS prevention implementationPreferred qualifications include:Web Application Firewall (WAF) or cybersecurity product experienceNetwork security infrastructure management interfacesToB/Enterprise admin interface design patternsMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$183,000.
