Machine Operator Assembly Team Associate
About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated, reliable person to join our production floor as a Machine Operator and Assembly Team Associate. You’ll be hands-on from day one — operating a Schroder Professional POS 3000 sheet metal folding machine, learning other equipment, assembling panels, applying adhesives, and working with a heated press. No prior experience with our specific machines is required — if you’ve got a mechanical mindset and a willingness to show up and learn, we’ll teach you the rest.
What You’ll Do
Machine Operation
Operate the Schroder Professional POS 3000 sheet metal folding machine safely
Operate Amada Twin Servo Drive Turret Punch Press
Train on additional equipment including Emmegi T2 E Double-Head cutting machines and Emmegi T3 Star CNC Machining center
Complete daily safety and performance checks on your machines
Panel Assembly
Assemble panels and subcomponents using provided diagrams and specs
Apply adhesives and operate a heated press as part of the production process
Accurately measure materials using a millimeter tape measure
Safety & Quality
Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE — every shift, no exceptions
Perform quality checks on your completed work and flag anything that doesn’t look right
Teamwork & Communication
Work alongside your team across projects and help each other stay on track
Keep your Production Manager and QC Supervisor in the loop on shift status, issues, or ideas. Ideas are always welcome!
What We’re Looking For
Reliable mindset, transportation, and the ability to be on-site by 6:45 AM to start your 7:00 AM shift — this one is non-negotiable
A mechanical mindset — you don’t need to know our machines, but you should feel comfortable around equipment
Composite or steel-toed safety boots
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
Strong attendance and punctuality track record
Physical Requirements
This is an active, on-your-feet manufacturing role. You should be comfortable with the following:
Standing and walking for up to 8 hours per shift
Reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching regularly
Lifting and moving objects safely up to 50 lbs
Repetitive hand and arm motions — grasping, assembling, manipulating parts
Using both manual and powered tools as needed
Working in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, dust, and temperature variation
