Job Description We are a local civil contracting firm with over 40+ years of experience in the industry. Currently seeking to hire an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team.Responsibilities for Assistant Project ManagerDetermine and define scope of work and deliverablesPredict resources needed to complete projectObtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisitesPrepare and submit budget based on scope of workCommunicate with clients, vendors and subcontractorsManage project documentation and E-mailsManage construction schedule and activitiesIssue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelinesEnsure work is done in compliance with project contract, specification and drawingsManage subcontractor and supplierQualifications for Assistant Project ManagerComfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawingsProficient in Microsoft Office and general computer softwareDemonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principlesAbility to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costsHigh degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditionsStrong leadership and management skillsJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offWork Location: In person
