A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is sought to provide dedicated 1:1 behavioral support in a structured group home environment located in Oceanside, CA. This part-time contract role offers approximately 15 hours per week, focusing on working closely with an individual with high behavioral needs who benefits from consistent, skilled intervention.Responsibilities:Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelityProvide consistent 1:1 ABA-based support during daily routines and community activitiesCollect accurate data on target behaviors and skill acquisition goalsUtilize approved crisis intervention and de-escalation strategiesAssist with life skills development, including hygiene, communication, social interaction, and daily living tasksCollaborate with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and residential staffMaintain a safe, structured, and supportive environmentQualifications:Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)Experience supporting individuals with high behavioral needsStrong understanding of ABA principles and behavior reduction techniquesComfortable implementing crisis prevention and intervention methodsReliable, patient, and professional demeanorAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to documentation protocolsSchedule & Location:Approximately 15 hours per week with flexible scheduling options possibly available during afternoons, evenings, or weekends depending on client needsConsistent assignment working 1:1 with the same individualLocated in Oceanside, CaliforniaBenefits include the opportunity to build strong rapport and witness meaningful progress within a supportive, structured residential setting.
