In this role, you'll work closely with our Full-Time Groundskeeper to maintain the outdoor spaces, equipment, and seasonal landscapes that make StoneRidge feel like home for residents, visitors, and team members. General Summary The Part-Time Summer Groundskeeper assists with maintaining the organization's outdoor grounds and related equipment. This role supports the Groundskeeper in ensuring all exterior areas are safe, clean, and visually appealing throughout the season. Essential Job Duties Maintain grounds to ensure they are clean, well-groomed, and free of trash, debris, and hazards. Perform daily maintenance and upkeep of seasonal gardens. Monitor and clean walkways to ensure safe and hazard-free conditions. Trim, prune, and shape bushes, shrubs, and plants as directed. Maintain outdoor facilities including faucets, water features, parking areas, curbing, walkways, signage, fire roads, flags, and detention ponds. Monitor parking areas for unauthorized or improperly parked vehicles. Assist with traffic control during special events. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Work is primarily performed outdoors and requires moderate to heavy physical effort. The position involves exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform tasks that include walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders for extended periods (up to 90% of the workday). Exposure to lawn and shrub maintenance chemicals is required. Schedule & Employment Details Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 12:00 PM, 34 days per week as needed. This is a seasonal position with a spring start date for training prior to the summer season. Please Note: Consideration for an interview requires a resume submission.
