currently seeking a Operations Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.Must haves:- Data Feed Monitoring-ticketing queue experienceSee below for notes directly from manager"The vast majority of the expected workload will be working on data feed monitoring alerts from an incident ticketing queue. Some network and SQL scripting knowledge is helpful, but not a primary skillset requirement. If you have someone who is able to research an incident to identify where the root cause likely exists and to manage the escalation to other support teams, that is more in line with what these positions will be doing."Responsibilities:Ensure all production regulated messaging applications are performing and providing a stable platformManage and support of all applications that enable compliant supervision review of electronic communicationsResponsible for service delivery to all Supervision & eDiscovery usersSuccessfully implement and validate application service changesMaintain support relationships with eDiscovery and Legal teams to make sure business strategies are consistently metEnsure that business partner priorities are identified, implemented and communicated as it pertains to Supervision policy managementInterface with EC Compliance to ensure adherence to compliance requirements via technical controls and reportingCollaborate with Engineering and Operations teammatesCollaborate with vendors and outside technical support teamsManage workloads based on priority and urgencyResponsible for creation and maintenance of knowledge base and procedural documentationRequirements:MS Windows ServerSecondary SkillMySQLTertiary SkillPowerShellRequired Skills3 or more years of working in a technical operations roleStrong working knowledge of ITIL standards and practicesProven problem solving skillsProven analytical skillsProven communication skills on a technical and non-technical levelProven process documentation skillsStrong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and internet browsersStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Basic knowledge of network troubleshootingDesired skills:Exposure to electronic communications retention and supervisionExposure to regulatory compliance rules and regulationsExperience with automation of recurring processesSQL ScriptingPowerShell ScriptingTechnical Certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, Network)Technical Writing
