DAS Companies, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting/Finance Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced corporate environment. The ideal candidate will support the Accounting/Finance Department with a variety of accounting and finance tasks while learning the ins and outs of corporate financial operations. This position is perfect for a student or recent graduate looking to grow their skill set in accounting, finance, and business analysis. This is a paid internship. RequirementsSupport the development and automation of key Accounting projects, including Freight cost tracking and Freight Analysis reporting. Collaborate with the FP&A Manager and business leaders to conduct monthly flux analysis and provide meaningful financial insights. Partner with the Controller to prepare month-end journal entries while identifying opportunities to streamline and automate the closing process. Education & Qualifications:Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred. Attention to Detail - Ability to accurately review financial documents and identify discrepancies. Creative Problem-Solving - Willingness to think outside the box and bring fresh perspectives to financial challenges, process improvements, and analytical tasks. Physical Demands & Work Environment:Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; hear; and use close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and to talk. Occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. or more. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Salary Description$15.00
