Job Summary: Tec5USA is seeking a skilled and experienced Lab Chemist with expertise in Near-Infrared (NIR) Spectroscopy, material mixing and measurement, and chemical synthesis. Key Responsibilities: NIR Spectroscopy: Perform NIR spectroscopy mesaurements to analyze and characterize materials, ensuring accurate measurement of chemical properties. Material Mixing and Measurement: Accurately mix and measure raw materials and chemicals according to specified formulations. Record and document measurements and processes, ensuring compliance with laboratory standards. Chemical Synthesis: Perform chemical synthesis processes, including the preparation and reaction of chemicals to create desired compounds. Develop and optimize synthesis protocols, ensuring reproducibility and efficiency. Quality Control & Assurance: Ensure laboratory operations comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Laboratory Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked laboratory environment. Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting with a strong focus on NIR spectroscopy, chemical synthesis, and material measurement. Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and UV-Vis is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in NIR spectroscopy and chemical synthesis. Strong understanding of chemical mixing, measurement, and analytical methods. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and analysis. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
