Supply Chain Coordinator

Role: Supply Chain Analyst Location: Milwaukee, WI- Onsite Contract JD: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must work with a minimal technical supervision and supplemental engineering support, while responding efficiently to multiple program priorities • Experience in floating RFQ and RFI to suppliers, RFQ analysis and Price finalization based on market price • Must have experience in esouricng tool and award scenario creation • Strong in evaluating supplier costs, solicits competitive bids and quotations • Knowledge about market operating price for various manufacturing commodity • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills • Good understanding of cost drivers & process drivers of a given commodity parts/sub assemblies • Negotiate cost down, Trade working capital improvements with suppliers • Min. 5 years of experience in a strategic sourcing role and Strategy development • Capability to interface with senior leadership across regions both internally & externally • In depth understanding of purchasing tools and practices • Strong costing and analytical skills • Working knowledge of the industry and market conditions • Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques • Good experience working in the procurement department in a related field • Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers • Work closely with Procurement, Engineering and Plant buyers to enable supplier provided savings opportunities • Report out various saving opportunities provided by suppliers to senior management • Strong MS Office skills and PDM/PLM tools • Program governance and Dashboarding for Senior leadership • Willingness to travel to customer/supplier sites on need basis.
