In this position, the candidate will be expected to apply domain knowledge to integrated digital engineering for conceptual system development providing operational analysis and military utility assessments for our nation's defense. We are looking for an experienced C++ and Python Developer with 8+ years of experience in a similar position. You will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance, scalable software solutions using C++, and delivering robust applications while working closely with our team of developers and engineers.Job Responsibilities:Design, develop, and manage high-performance software applications using C++Design, develop, and manage software applications and transformations using PythonImplement and optimize code for performance, security, and memory efficiencyWrite robust, efficient, and scalable C++ code for various applications, including real-time systems, embedded systems, and desktop softwareMonitor and optimize the performance and responsiveness of C++ applications across multiple platforms and environmentsIntegrate third-party libraries, tools, and APIs into C++ applications for enhanced functionalityCollaborate with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of C++ applications with other systems and componentsRun unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure the stability and functionality of C++ applicationsConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and best practices in C++ developmentParticipate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement of C++ development workflowsRequired Skills:8+ years of related work experience with software development using C++ and PythonProficiency in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms with C++Strong understanding of memory management, multithreading, and concurrency in C++ applicationsExperience with integrating C++ applications with back-end technologies or third-party librariesFamiliarity with C++ standards (C++11/14/17/20) and STL (Standard Template Library)Understanding of version control systems such as GITKnowledge of performance optimization, profiling, and debugging tools for C++ is a plusExperience with security best practices in C++ development is preferredExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of effective teamworkStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, dedicated to delivering high-quality, efficient software solutionsAbility to travel on an as needed basisRequires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline and 8+ years' experience, or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline and 6+ years' experience.
