Apply via Dice today!Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in load and performance testing to ensure the scalability, reliability, and stability of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with Development, QA, and DevOps teams to identify performance bottlenecks and improve overall system efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, spike, and endurance tests using Apache JMeter and BlazeMeterAnalyze performance test results and identify application, database, and infrastructure bottlenecksCollaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot performance issues and perform rootcause analysisCreate and maintain performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, dashboards, and reportsMonitor application performance and system behavior during testing cyclesValidate performance requirements and SLAsParticipate in performance tuning and retesting after fixesSupport preproduction and production performance testing when requiredProvide clear performance metrics, dashboards, and recommendations to stakeholdersRequired Skills & Qualifications 5-10 years of experience in performance and load testingStrong handson experience with Apache JMeterExperience using BlazeMeter for cloudbased performance testingSolid understanding of performance testing concepts:Load testingStress testingSpike testingSoak / Endurance testingScalability testingExperience analyzing performance metrics:Response timeThroughputCPU utilizationMemory utilizationError ratesGood understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and web applicationsExperience validating backend and database performanceStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problemsolving skillsGood communication and documentation skillsGood to Have Experience in banking or financial services domainFamiliarity with monitoring tools:SplunkCloudWatchDatadogGrafanaPrometheusAppDynamicsExposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into automation frameworksBasic scripting knowledge (Java, Groovy, or Python)Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
