DSP (Direct Support Professional)

Basic Occupational Training Center is looking for employees who are willing to help provide a safe environment but also fun activities and curriculum. We are looking for employees who are willing to work with consumers, help them grow and help them learn how to manage their behaviors. Mostly seeking someone who is willing to do janitorial work and willing to lift consumers 25 lbs or more. *Job:*Day Program for Developmentally Disabled Adults with Behaviors *Position:*Direct Care Staff *Hours:*Monday- Thursday (6hrs); Friday (5.7 hrs) *Hours of Operation: *8am- 3pm *Pay Days:*10th & 25th of each month *Job Requirements* 1. At least 23 years of age 2. High School Diploma or GED 3. Fingerprint clearance (before employment can begin) FBI & DOJ, $77 upfront, company will reimburse if cleared and hired 4. Physical/ TB test within the last year 5. CA Drivers License 6/ DMV 5 yr. driving record/ reliable transportation/ acceptable driving record 7.
