Environmental Field Technician/Laborer

An ER/Field Technician at SET Environmental is responsible to:Ensure the health and safety of the crew, customer, and site by adhering to SET safety policies and procedures by identifying, communicating, and mitigating hazardsTake an active role on crews by participating in both scheduled and emergency response-based projectsAssist in loading equipment and supplies for project needsExert moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 50lbsWork in a variety of weather conditionsSupport of various environmental projects ranging from, but not limited to:Confined Space Entry - CSEEnvironmental remediationWaterway responseHazardous materials clean upPerform other miscellaneous duties as necessaryPOSITION REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent, preferredMust be over 21 years old40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER or ability to obtainMust be flexible to changes in work schedule and be available for On-callBasic computer skillsAbility to perform physical labor under direction of crew leadsAbility to respond to out-of-town projects as neededAbility to speak, read, and write English sufficientlyIndustry/Construction experience preferred but not requiredValid Driver's License with good driving record that meets SET insurance requirements
