Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturer of pharma instruments, is hiring a HVAC Engineer to join their team in Indianapolis, IN!*This is a 12 month W2 contract with benefits offered!*In this role, you will support pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities by designing, troubleshooting, and optimizing utility systems, including HVAC, chilled water, steam, and compressed air systems. You will also provide technical support for capital projects, develop engineering documentation such as P&IDs, and ensure all facility operations comply with cGMP and FDA regulations.Responsibilities:Design, troubleshoot, and optimize utility systems including HVAC, chilled water, steam, compressed air, and process gas systems within pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Develop and review P&IDs, equipment specifications, and engineering calculations to support system reliability, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Support capital projects and manufacturing operations by assisting with installation, commissioning, root-cause analysis, and preventive maintenance initiatives. Requirements:2+ years of facilities or utility engineering experience. AutoCAD and P&ID experience required. Pharma/GMP background with HVAC and utility systems knowledge.
