Job Description
We are in search of a Sr Software Developer to join our IT Consulting team located in HORSHAM, Pennsylvania. The role involves developing robust and responsive web applications and services, implementing APIs, and contributing to software architecture decisions.
Responsibilities
Engaging in full-stack development including front end, business logic, and data access layers
Taking responsibility for every phase of the development lifecycle, from planning to release and support
Collaborating closely with development team members and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions
Mentoring and assisting in the training and onboarding of new developers
Maintaining high standards, attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness in all tasks
Utilizing skills in Backend Development, Bug Tracking, C++, Database, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, and Atlassian Jira to optimize performance
Developing responsive web applications and adhering to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles
Implementing robust APIs and adhering to event-based software design principles
Qualifications
Extensive experience with Atlassian Jira
Proficiency in Backend Development
Familiarity with Bug Tracking systems
Strong skills in C++ programming
Experience in Database management
Knowledge of AB Testing procedures
Experience working in Agile Scrum teams
Proficiency in Ajax development
Experience in API Development
Knowledge of ASP.NET framework
IT Consulting experience with a focus on software development
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think criticallyExcellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Desire to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
