Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary Responsible for designing PCB hardware and developing LabVIEW/Python test software, including leveraging spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment. Will also handle troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and collaboration with firmware/software teams. Responsibilities Design and develop analog and digital PCBs using Altium or Cadence, including schematic capture, component selection, layout, and PCB stack‑up/routing. Perform circuit analysis, testing, troubleshooting, root‑cause failure investigations, and hardware validation using lab equipment. Support the full PCBA lifecycle: symbol/footprint creation, simulation (LTspice), prototyping, bring‑up, and production release. Implement and verify digital communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, Ethernet, LVDS, RS422, etc.) and low‑level C integration. Develop Bench‑Top Test Equipment, including LabVIEW/Python software, to interface with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, DAQ hardware, FPGA embedded systems, and real‑time processors. Debug and optimize test software, architect performance‑centric solutions, and provide user‑friendly interfaces for clients. Document test results, design specifications, and user manuals for new or existing systems. Provide customer support to clients in person, over the phone, or via email. Minimum Qualifications 1–5 years of relevant experience in PCB design, hardware testing, or LabVIEW/Python development. U.S. citizenship. #J-18808-Ljbffr
