JOB DESCRIPTION:
Manage and coordinate projects of varying size individually or as a team member. Position requires the ability to run multiple projects depending on workload and degree of difficulty. The successful candidate will coordinate with Senior project manager or Principle to assure requirements of project including but not limited to the following:
BIDDING
Pre-qualify Bidders and Vendors
Organize bid packages
Prepare scopes
Review bidders
Prepare estimates
Review bids
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
Determine potential issues on site and issue RFI`s for clarifications
Procure submittals
Track submittal`s and RFI`s log, ensure that most accurate information is available on site
Prepare Pay Applications and associated documents
Coordinate subcontractors
Coordinate laborers
Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. Prepare site logistics plans, ensures that all safety protocols are in place. Determine staging areas, temp. fencing, equipment driveways, unloading zones.
Attend all required meetings
COST CONTROL
Generate, revise and review budgets
Prepare change orders
Prepare draws
Contribute to value engineering exercises
SAFETY
Prepare job specific requirements
Run weekly meetings
Complete weekly inspections
Proactive recommendations
CONTRACTS/LEGAL
Prepare Scope reviews
Negotiate and prepare contracts
Coordinate Insurance requirements and procure or issue all certificates of insurance
Review and manage lien waivers
JOB REQUIREMENTS
College Degree preferred in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
Experience with Microsoft Office Software
Experience with Microsoft Project or Similar Software
Experience with Procore or Similar Software
Strong organization and follow up skills
The applicant must have their own reliable transportation and a safe driving record.
