Job Description

All ISI staff should preach and teach the Word of God through their actions, and when appropriate, in word. ISI authorizes staff to perform various ministry functions including, but not limited to, leading Bible studies, praying, leading international student clubs/gatherings, planning/directing or supervising the ministry activities of others, and planning and developing the content of religious or other activities and events with students and other ISI partners and participants, while maintaining alignment with ISI's Statement of Faith. When appropriate, they may perform sacerdotal duties, such as officiating for baptisms, weddings, funerals, and the administering of Holy Communion.· Maintains accurate donor records in the donor platform, including accurate recording and receipting of all monies/gifts received by ISI via cash, checks, stocks, securities, or other gifts in kind· Maintains confidentiality of all ISI and donor financial and other information· Open mail in accordance with auditing requirements and ensures timely processing of received mail· Manage communications via phone/email to assist donors and ISI staff as needed· Process bank deposits including, but not limited to, the totaling of batched mail, processing of miscellaneous income, writing deposits and electronically sending through the desktop deposit program or preparing tamper-proof deposit device in accordance with auditing requirements for manual bank deposits· Process reports and prepare Transaction Journal and Income Summary· Data entry, including database updates, processing of income, online donations, returned mail, revision of spreadsheets or documents needed, and various correspondence· Process receipts, including printing receipts for mailing and preparing the receipt register· Prepares receipts for mailing using the automated folding/inserting equipment to the level of current training· Provides project-based support to other departments as required and assists cross-functional teams with projects on an as-needed basis· Other duties as assignedCompany Description International Students, Inc. exists to share Christ's love with international students and to equip them for effective service in cooperation with the local church and others.
