This role supports day-to-day customer and order operations by handling inquiries, coordinating order activity, and helping ensure a reliable service experience. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.Responsibilities:• Oversee the entry, review, and completion of customer sales orders using internal platforms and QuickBooks.• Manage purchase order activity and maintain accurate status updates to support on-time processing and delivery.• Follow open orders closely and release them for fulfillment when inventory becomes available.• Assist customers with return requests by coordinating authorization steps and guiding the return process through resolution.• Create pricing quotations and provide timely answers to questions related to products, orders, and account activity.• Maintain customer and order records in Excel-based reports, ensuring information remains current and reliable.• Track daily operational metrics, including order volume and processing performance, and share updates as needed.• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve order issues, improve service quality, and support customer satisfaction.• Previous experience supporting sales orders, purchase orders, or related order management activities.• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and strong proficiency with Excel for reporting and data maintenance.• Ability to address customer concerns with sound judgment, professionalism, and a service-oriented approach.• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage several tasks accurately at the same time.• Excellent communication skills for handling inbound and outbound customer interactions effectively.• Comfort working in a smaller organization where job duties may extend across multiple operational areas.• Experience in a medical device or other regulated environment is preferred.TalentMatch®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
