Title: Civil Engineer - Water Resources / HydrologyLocation: Pleasanton, CA (94566)Pay Range: $102,000 - $140,000Candidates must hold an active California PE and have 3+ Years of hydrology and hydraulics experience in California. This role focuses on designing storm drain systems, drainage solutions, and flood control improvements using AutoCAD Civil 3D along with HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS modeling.In this full-time, on-site role, you will support hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater design for land development and public infrastructure projects. You will work with senior engineers to turn rainfall-runoff data and regulatory requirements into accurate, buildable drainage designs and technical reports.What You Will Be DoingDesigning storm drain systems, open-channel and closed-conduit hydraulics, and surface hydrology solutionsRunning rainfall-runoff simulations and 1D/2D hydraulic modelingSupporting drainage and flood control design for land development and public infrastructure projectsPreparing technical reports, calculations, and documentation for clients and agenciesAssisting with master drainage plans, flood studies, and project coordinationWhat You Need For This Job3 to 7 years of civil engineering experience focused on storm drainage, flood control, and hydrology/hydraulics in CaliforniaBS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and an active California PE licenseProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft ExcelHands-on experience with HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS (1D/2D).
