Travel PRN Emergency Room RN Travel PRN Emergency Room RN needed for a critical access hospital near Beardstown, Illinois. Provide flexible, as-needed coverage in a fast-paced rural emergency department. Work days and nights with up to $55 per hour. Key Responsibilities: Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with a variety of emergency medical conditions Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy according to physician orders Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with facility policies Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a rural healthcare environment Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact License (if applicable) Current BLS Certification Current ACLS Certification Experience with emergency stabilization, triage, trauma, cardiac, and medical-surgical patients Previous travel nursing experience (a plus) Preferred Skills: PALS Certification TNCC Certification NIH Stroke Certification Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience Previous Critical Access Hospital, Rural Health, or Community Hospital experience Benefits: Flexible PRN scheduling Competitive hourly compensation up to $55 per hour Opportunity to gain experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting Work with a supportive clinical team Rural healthcare experience that allows nurses to utilize a broad range of clinical skills Potential contract extensions available
