Capital Access Managers (Contract) The Capital Access Manager plays a vital role in Impact Ventures' Integrated Capital team by managing the Capital Readiness Program and supporting the organization's small business lending operations. Location: Tarrant, Dallas, & Collin County (TX) Compensation: $35/hour (2025+ hours per week) Contract Term: 1-Year (Renewal contingent upon funding and performance) FLSA Status: Part-Time, Contract Impact Ventures is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) with a mission to remove social and economic barriers for underestimated entrepreneurs to build generational wealth through education, mentorship, and capital. We provide culturally responsive accelerator programs, capital readiness training, and flexible financing to women and entrepreneurs of color across North Texas and beyond. The Capital Access Manager plays a vital role in Impact Ventures' Integrated Capital team by managing the Capital Readiness Program and supporting the organization's small business lending operations across Tarrant, Collin, & Dallas County. This role leads the coordination, facilitation, and evaluation of the Capital Readiness Program while engaging directly with entrepreneurs to strengthen their financial readiness and connect them to appropriate financing opportunities. The position also supports the CDFI's loan pipeline, providing intake, technical assistance, and ongoing client support throughout the lending process. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven professional with experience in small business finance, lending, or program management, and a deep commitment to advancing inclusive economic opportunity. Key Responsibilities: 1. Capital Readiness Program Support Work with Programs Team to support recruitment, onboarding, and support participants from enrollment through program completion. Assist with referring instructors, mentors, and guest speakers for seamless program delivery. Facilitate Thursday evening in-person sessions in respective cities (Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco). Lead and own loan packaging and document collections process to facilitate seamless integration with investment team for underwriting. 2. Ecosystem Development Represent Impact Ventures at community, partner, and ecosystem events. Collaborate with marketing and program teams to promote programs and share impact stories. Support related events such as Capital Connections Mixers, Demo Days, and founder showcases hosted by IV. 3. Borrower Recruitment & Pipeline Development (Outside of CRP) Serve as the primary point of contact for entrepreneurs seeking capital or technical assistance. Manage intake, eligibility screening, and pre-qualification for loan programs. Maintain CRM systems (Salesforce, Airtable) to track participant and borrower engagement. Host outreach events and info sessions to attract prospective borrowers and program participants. 4. Loan Packaging & Technical Assistance Guide entrepreneurs through financial documentation and loan application preparation. Provide one-on-one technical assistance and connect clients to business support resources. Collaborate with the investment team to support loan approvals and post-loan success. Foster relationships with ecosystem partners, mentors, and financial institutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Community Development, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3 years of experience in small business lending, financial coaching, or entrepreneurial program management. Strong knowledge of small business finance, credit-building, and loan-readiness principles. Proven ability to coordinate training programs or multi-week cohorts. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce, Airtable) and MS Office or Google Workspace. Travel: 25% travel within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Location: Hybrid work flexibility (remote and in-office in Fort Worth, Frisco, & Dallas)
