Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Position to work for the Georgia Apex 3.0 Project, providing services at schools of Jeff Davis, Appling and Evans counties with headquarters in Candler Counseling Center, Metter, Ga. Under general supervision, provides individual, family, group, and crisis counseling and/or educational services to consumers with substance abuse histories and their families. Documents all services rendered in assigned time frames. Benefit position. Qualifications : Minimum: Completion of a Master’s degree in counseling, behavioral sciences, or social services (e.g., psychology, social work) Preferred: Licensed and two years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) paraprofessional work experience in addiction counseling. Required Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a related field. All applicants will be subject to a 7-year Motor Vehicle Report check, Pre-employment Drug Screen, as well as National (NCIC) and local (GCIC) criminal background checks.
