Information Services Trainer

Information Services Trainer (Temp-to-Perm) – Manhattan, NYC (Hybrid)Our client, a prominent law firm, is seeking an Information Services Trainer to join their Manhattan office on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a high-impact, urgent role supporting attorney and staff training, onboarding, and firm-wide technology adoption. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Conduct training for new hires as well as ongoing Information Services Training for lawyers and staffDevelop new courses and training modulesCreate and maintain support documentationRecord and edit training videosConduct training sessions and demos for lawyers and staff in a variety of settings: classroom, one-on-one, in office, departmental meetings, etc.Study, test, document and prepare to train new applications as they are developed and/or acquired by Information Services for firm-wide distributionPeriodically assist Training Supervisor in scheduling classesHelp maintain and update the User Support Training site on the firm intranetPreform ad hoc Information Services administrative duties as deemed necessarySupport the larger User Support Team in its training and documentation needsDesired Skills and Experience:2 years of professional work within technology support, preferably in the legal marketBachelor’s degree is strongly preferredPC application training experienceExperience writing documentationMust be able to demonstrate training skills during a mock training sessionStrong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical and complex details.Exceptional customer service skillsAbility to effectively review and interpret training requirements and deliver the highest level of trainingStrong technical skills and hands-on experienceExperience with iManage is requiredExperience with UniversitySite, Articulate and AI integration with those and other applications is a plusWeb development skills are a plus
