The scope of the job may include a wide range of facility services and/or activities including routine and non-routine tasks to be independently completed per office guidelines and/or under supervision of a more experienced technician or supervisor.ResponsibilitiesAn individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities described. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.Assist in developing a maintenance planProactively identify facility needsPerform regular building rounding to ensure the facility is clean, welcoming and safe for patients and staffPerform routine building safety checksProvide basic building maintenance as neededPerform basic custodial duties as neededPerform outside maintenance and grounds services as neededManage/assist in repair requests, weekly inspections, inventory/organization of equipment and facilities, project supervision, review safety/security policies and exercise fiscal accountability.Assist with sorting and distributing all incoming mail and packages; prepare and prepping it for inter office mailAct as a liaison, and point of contact with internal staff, external vendors, building staff and customers as it pertains to each facilityWorking Environment and Physical DemandsThis job operates in a healthcare setting. This role requires regular walking to various locations around the clinic. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This role may float to other MCC clinic sites if needed. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
