This position manages alumni affinity networks, career networking initiatives, volunteer leadership programs, and signature events designed to enhance alumni participation and philanthropic support.## Job DescriptionDUTIES AND TASKS:Note:The following duties are illustrative and not exhaustive. Ensure accurate tracking of engagement activity in the CRM and collaborate with Advancement Services to maintain high standards of data integrity and reporting. Collaborate with the Director of Alumni Engagement in planning and implementing alumni programs, activities, and events that serve alumni, University Advancement, and University initiatives. Provide staff support and coordination for volunteer leadership groups and affiliated engagement committees. Manage a portfolio of alumni engagement initiatives including career networking programs, affinity-based engagement efforts, volunteer leadership development, digital engagement strategies, and signature events.* Develop and implement engagement initiatives designed to increase alumni participation rates across the alumni lifecycle.* Establish annual engagement goals aligned with University Advancement priorities and track progress toward measurable outcomes.* Recruit, train, steward, and support alumni volunteer leaders to strengthen engagement initiatives and build long-term leadership pipelines.* Develop and execute digital engagement strategies across relevant online platforms to increase alumni participation, volunteerism, and event attendance.* Support Alumni Weekend marketing and communications; manage volunteers and coordinate event logistics.* Partner with campus departments including Career Services, Athletics, Academic Colleges, and Student Affairs to create integrated alumni engagement opportunities.* In conjunction with the University's Career Services office, execute career networking events and programs that connect alumni with current students.* Collaborate with development and annual giving teams to integrate engagement initiatives into fundraising campaigns.* Identify highly engaged alumni as potential annual and major gift prospects and support cultivation strategies.* Support donor stewardship and recognition efforts through engagement programming.* Ensure accurate tracking of engagement activities in the CRM and collaborate with Advancement Services to maintain high standards of data integrity.* Prepare regular engagement performance reports for University Advancement leadership and recommend strategy adjustments based on data analysis.* Develop and implement a comprehensive young alumni engagement strategy focused on career networking, affinity programming, and early-stage philanthropy.SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS:* Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and planning skills.* Ability to work and communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with a broad range of internal and external constituents.* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.* Ability to function autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.* Demonstrated ability to analyze engagement data and apply insights to improve strategy.* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.* Experience working with CRM systems such as Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or similar platforms.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Alumni relations, higher education, and/or nonprofit volunteer management experience.* Experience supporting engagement initiatives tied to annual giving or donor cultivation.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:* Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or University.* Valid driver's license and the ability to travel and work evenings and weekends, as necessary.What it's Like to Work Here: Ask our employees and the one word they'd use to describe working at Saint Leo University is "Community."
