Cathode R&D Engineer

Ampace (新能安) is a global battery-technology company specializing in lithium-ion cells and systems for energy storage, data centers, and critical power. Our R&D pairs advanced cell chemistry with semi-solid-state technology to deliver safe, high-performance batteries at scale. This position is based at our R&D center in Xiamen, China.Responsibilities:1. Design the structural and interface stability of single-crystal and polycrystalline ternary (NMC) cathodes.2. Develop particle-cracking suppression for polycrystalline ternary cathodes during cycling.3. Improve the thermal stability of ultra-high-nickel ternary cathodes.Requirements:1. PhD with a background in electrochemistry, materials science, or chemical engineering.2. Research experience with battery cathode materials.3. Strong logical thinking and communication skills.新能安(Ampace)是一家全球领先的电池科技企业,专注于锂离子电芯及电池系统的研发与制造,产品广泛应用于储能、数据中心及关键电源等领域。公司结合先进的电芯化学体系与半固态电池技术,致力于打造兼具高安全性、高性能和规模化生产能力的电池产品。本岗位工作地点位于中国厦门研发中心。岗位职责负责单晶及多晶三元(NMC)正极材料的结构设计及界面稳定性研究。开展多晶三元正极材料循环过程中的颗粒开裂抑制技术研究,提升材料循环稳定性。提升超高镍三元正极材料的热稳定性,推动高性能正极材料开发。任职要求电化学、材料科学、化学工程等相关专业博士学历。具有锂电池正极材料相关研究经验。具备良好的逻辑思维能力、分析能力及沟通协作能力。
