Shipping & Receiving ClerkAbacus Staffing is hiring a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support customer service and logistics operations at a DSV facility. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, shipping and receiving documentation, data entry, and customer communication while ensuring compliance with all DSV work instructions and customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess customer orders accurately and on timeGenerate shipping paperwork and verify special order or shipping requirementsCoordinate urgent or last-minute shipping requests with operationsPrioritize orders based on pickup times or dock cutoffsProvide shipping and tracking information as neededRespond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, receipts, and inventory in a professional and courteous mannerMaintain positive customer relationshipsCommunicate customer feedback or concerns to managementMaintain all order-related paperwork and filesKeep DSV work instructions current and accurateAnswer phones and operate standard office equipmentEnter and verify data related to orders, shipments, receipts, and inventory adjustmentsEnsure accuracy of all shipping and receiving documentsAssist with resolving discrepanciesCollect and route inbound freight documentation to proper departmentsFollow all DSV work instructions and proceduresProvide backup clerical support as assignedPerform other duties as neededWork overtime as required (mandatory or voluntary)QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GEDBasic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures (mild to moderate)PreferredPrevious customer service experience, including phone support and office equipment usePhysical RequirementsConstant: SittingFrequent: Walking and standingOccasional: BendingAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull 1120 lbsAbility to reach overhead, squat, or kneelWhy Work with Abacus Staffing?Stable, full-time opportunitiesProfessional warehouse and office environmentSupportive staffing teamOpportunity to gain logistics and customer service experience
