This practice is known for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and partners with leading healthcare institutions including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center .This role focuses heavily on GYN, pelvic, and transvaginal ultrasound studies , with opportunities to work with a diverse patient population in a fast-paced outpatient setting.Schedule4x10-hour shiftsMonday – Friday9:00 AM – 7:00 PMRotating weekday offNo weekendsKey ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including GYN, pelvic, abdominal, and transvaginal studiesPrepare and position patients for ultrasound examinations while explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfortSelect appropriate transducers and adjust ultrasound equipment settings based on exam requirementsOperate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic imagesMonitor image quality and adjust scanning techniques as neededRecord patient data and exam information in the ultrasound systemMaintain accurate documentation of imaging studies and diagnostic resultsWork collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to support accurate diagnosesRequired QualificationsARDMS certification (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)New York State license (or ability to obtain prior to start)BLS certification3–5 years of ultrasound experienceExperience with abdominal and OB/GYN ultrasound examsGraduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound programPreferred QualificationsExperience performing vascular ultrasound studiesExperience with pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound imagingTechnology & EquipmentGE E9 Ultrasound MachineRoyal Systems EHRGE UV PACSWork EnvironmentOutpatient private imaging centerApproximately 1 patient scheduled every 30 minutesMix of screening and diagnostic imaging casesCollaborative team of radiologists specializing in multiple imaging subspecialtiesWhy Join This Practice?Established NYC imaging practice with an excellent reputationCollaborative radiology team with subspecialty expertiseStrong partnerships with leading healthcare organizationsStable patient volume and structured schedulingOpportunity to work with advanced imaging technology
