Lead DevSecOps Engineer

SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on DevSecOps Lead with 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, security integration, and observability. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and enterprise monitoring platforms, particularly Datadog. This role requires a technical leader who can drive DevSecOps initiatives while remaining actively involved in architecture, implementation, and operational support. Responsibilities Lead DevSecOps strategy, implementation, and operational excellence initiatives. Design, build, and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure. Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools. Implement and manage observability and monitoring solutions using Datadog or similar platforms. Configure dashboards, alerts, logging, tracing, and performance monitoring. Integrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation. Manage Kubernetes (EKS) platforms and containerized workloads. Establish SRE best practices including monitoring, incident response, RCA, SLI/SLO, and reliability engineering. Collaborate with Development, Security, and Infrastructure teams to improve platform security and reliability. Mentor and guide DevOps engineers while remaining hands-on technically. Required Skills 10+ years of DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE experience. Strong AWS experience (EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation). Hands-on experience with Datadog monitoring and observability. Experience with APM, Logging, Distributed Tracing, Alerting, and Dashboard creation. CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline. Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation. Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Helm. DevSecOps tools: Snyk, Checkmarx, Veracode, SonarQube. SAST, DAST, Container Security, Secrets Management. Python, Shell Scripting, or Groovy. Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). Terraform Certification. Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, or New Relic. Experience in large enterprise environments. Exposure to Platform Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Experience working in regulated industries such as Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Telecom.
