Plant Controller
Job Overview
As a Plant Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing financial activities within the plant, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Duties
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes for the plant
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement analysis
- Oversee governmental accounting compliance and reporting
- Implement and maintain internal controls and auditing experience
- Utilize financial software to generate reports and analyze data
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen and understanding of financial concepts
- Utilize accounting software for day-to-day operations
- Oversee payroll processes within the plant
-Bill of Material, Routing and Standards of the manufacturing floor
- Understands the process of equipment and machinery, (plant grinding and blanking)
Qualifications
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation
- Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations
- Knowledge of Cost Accounting, and manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in using financial software for reporting and analysis
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with account reconciliation processes
- Ability to demonstrate financial acumen and apply financial concepts effectively
- Proficiency in utilizing accounting software for day-to-day operations
-Good presentation skills both oral and written, demonstrated leadership
Education
-Bachelor's degree (B.A) in Business or Accounting and 5 years of related experiences in a manufacturing environment or equilvanlent combination of education and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $104,147.00 - $130,000.00 per year
