Director of Retail Sales

Our client in the personal care space is hiring a Director of Retail Sales! About the Role: We’re looking for a highly strategic and aggressively growth-minded Director of Retail Sales to lead and scale our client's retail presence across both conventional and unconventional B2B channels. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who brings deep retail experience, a strong network of retail relationships, and a proven track record of building and managing successful sales organizations. They're currently in retailers like Nordstrom and launching in Target in Q4—and that’s just the beginning. They need a sales leader who knows how to expand on that momentum, open new doors, and think creatively about where their brand belongs next. What You’ll Do: Own and expand our retail sales strategy across big box, specialty retail, and alternative B2B channels (salons, spas, hospitality, etc.) Lead, hire, and scale a high-performing retail sales team Leverage existing relationships to drive new retail partnerships and optimize current ones Develop playbooks and processes to grow retail revenue in both high-volume and niche accounts Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, ops, and finance to align on retail strategy and execution Bring a pulse on industry trends and competitive activity, identifying white space for innovation and expansion What We’re Looking For: 7+ years in retail sales, ideally with leadership experience at a well-known brand in beauty, wellness, or sleep Deep relationships and credibility across major retailers and alternative retail channels Proven success in both big box retail and non-traditional B2B sales (e.g., hospitality, boutique stores, wellness partners) A true sales driver—proactive, persistent, and creative in identifying and closing new opportunities Experience building and leading a sales team, with strong operational chops and a hands-on leadership style Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Seniority level Seniority level Director Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Industries Retail Health and Personal Care Products Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Dimond Connect by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Director of Retail Sales” roles.
