Description:Who we’re looking forTMNA ESV’s (Electronic Systems Vehicle) Vehicle Development team is seeking a collaborative engineer to work on Multimedia, HVAC panel, cockpit and chassis switches. The primary responsibility of this role is vehicle development for Multimedia, HVAC panel, cockpit switches and chassis switches. Reporting to the Vehicle Development Senior Manager, the person in this role will work to fill Electronic Systems Vehicle’s objective of building a NA electronics center of excellence that complements Toyota Global direction.What you’ll be doingVehicle application of Multimedia, HVAC panel, cockpit switches (window master switch, N3 switches) and chassis switches (Spiral cable, Combi switch)Plan structure and design of Multimedia, HVAC panel and switches through target setting, packaging and style feasibility that balances performance, customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory complianceIssue design specifications to suppliers and manage supplier schedule, performance and qualityManage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specificationsRequirements:This position will be working a Hybrid schedule (T/W/TH working onsite)What you bringBachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills5 years or more as an electrical design engineerMust be able to work up to 30% overtimeWhat you may bringExperience in vehicle electronics developmentExperience in CATIA
