This is a high-visibility role focused on expanding market presence and securing large-scale commercial interior construction projects.This position is ideal for a proven construction industry sales professional with strong relationships among general contractors, architects, developers, and owner representatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving strategic growth and strengthening market position throughout Texas.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic business development plans to grow presence in the Texas commercial construction marketIdentify, pursue, and secure new project opportunities with general contractors, developers, architects, and owner representativesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at major construction firms and industry partnersActively manage and grow an existing book of business while developing new client relationshipsTrack upcoming projects, bid opportunities, and market trends within the commercial construction pipelineCollaborate closely with estimating, operations, and executive leadership teams to support project pursuit and successful executionRepresent the organization at industry events, networking functions, and client meetingsMaintain consistent travel throughout Texas, including San Antonio, Houston, and DallasProvide regular pipeline updates, sales forecasts, and market intelligence to leadershipRequired QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of business development or sales experience within the commercial construction industryProven success selling services for a subcontractor or general contractor, preferably within interior tradesExperience with Division 6–12 scopes, including architectural woodwork, doors, frames, millwork, drywall, glazing, ceilings, or related interior construction scopesEstablished relationships with general contractors, architects, developers, and owner representatives in the Texas marketDemonstrated success securing and managing large, multi-million-dollar commercial construction projectsBachelor's degree required (Construction Management, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred)Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated, outgoing, and capable of working independently in a territory-based rolePreferred QualificationsExperience working for a specialty subcontractor focused on interior build-outsBackground in architectural interiors, millwork, glazing, drywall, ceilings, framing, or related tradesExperience supporting large commercial projects such as airports, healthcare facilities, or corporate campusesExisting network within the Texas commercial construction marketLocation & Travel RequirementsHome office based in San Antonio, Dallas, or HoustonMonthly travel throughout Texas requiredThis is a highly visible, client-facing, territory-based role requiring regular in-person meetings and site visitsWhy JoinOpportunity to lead growth in a major strategic marketCompetitive base salary plus commission and car allowanceEstablished pipeline and strong operational supportLong-term career growth with a stable and growing organization
