Cloud EngineerLocation: Springfield, VA, USJob ID: ATR 18065Job DescriptionJob Title: Cloud EngineerJob Location: Springfield, VACompensation: $170,000 - $180,000Eligibility/Clearance: Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI clearanceand be willing to obtain a CI PolygraphJob Description:The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for working with highlyfunctional development team automating service deployments;optimizing system performance; integrating with enterpriseauthentication services; establishing/improving system monitoring;maintaining established security protocols; provide customerstechnical support. The Cloud Engineer will be integrated with anagile environment participating with scrums and other meetings.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Work with A&A Team to maintain security requirements for operationof systemsMaintain and improve existing infrastructure (build out autoscaling,support new services, optimize for costefficiencies/authentication/search, etc)Produce detailed documentationMaintain System in AWS environment using EC2, S3, Load Balancer, andRDSAutomate and optimize service deploymentsDelivering a full-stack web application to production; identifyingand resolving operational issues in sameActively participating in technical requirements-gathering process(i.e. meetings with customers)Executing design and implementation of application features,independently / unassisted, with minimal oversightRefactoring legacy application code for improved reliability andmaintainabilityMentoring junior developersWriting and reading unit tests; understanding code-quality analysisconceptsWriting and debugging Javascript, Typescript, or closely-relatedlanguageDeveloping applications backed by a relational database;understanding RDB design conceptsSkills/Qualifications:Required:Strong knowledge of Amazon Web ServicesStrong Troubleshooting skillsExperience in automating tasks using scripted languages such asBash, PowerShell, or PerlFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologyFamiliarity with DevOps development processes and ContinuousIntegration tools: GitLab, Jenkins, NexusExtensive Typescript or Javascript backgroundAngular frontend framework;
