Project Executive - Data Center/Mission Critical Construction - Base Salary to 230k/year - Tuscaloosa, ALOur client has been in business for over 50 years and is proud to be an industry leader in general construction and engineering services. They are a top-of-class organization and are dedicated to hiring individuals who understand the importance of safety, instill integrity in all aspects of their lives; are passionate about what they do, and are committed to providing value to their clients.Currently they are seeking a Project Executive with deep expertise in data center construction to lead large-scale, mission-critical projects from concept to closeout. The Project Executive will oversee all phases of construction, ensuring alignment with financial, technical, and quality goals. This role demands strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a strong command of MEP systems and commissioning protocols unique to data center environments.Responsibilities:Lead the full lifecycle of data center construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnoverServe as the primary client interface, ensuring clear communication, satisfaction, and alignment of expectationsReview and approve contracts, scopes of work, budgets, and schedules; proactively identify and mitigate risksDrive cost control and forecasting practices to maintain financial health and meet margin targetsOversee quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with client specs and industry standardsManage project risk and change control processes to address scope, schedule, and cost impactsEnforce safety protocols across all job sites in compliance with OSHA and company standardsOptimize workforce planning, including subcontractor coordination and self-perform labor deploymentLead vendor management including prequalification, procurement, performance tracking, and complianceApply deep knowledge of data center infrastructure — including power, cooling, redundancy, and commissioning standards to guide project decisionsImplement best-in-class project management tools and methodologies (Lean, BIM, Procore, etc.) to ensure consistency and efficiencyQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred)10+ years of construction management experience, with 5+ years in data center or mission-critical environmentsProven success managing multi-million-dollar projects with complex MEP and commissioning requirementsStrong understanding of prefabrication, modular assembly, and integrated systems testing (IST)Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)Must be willing to travel throughout Texas, Georgia, Alabama, and ArkansasCompensation:Base salary in the 150k - 230k/yearAnnual structured bonus.Auto allowance with fuel cardPaid travelHealth insurance programs including medical, dental and vision.401k with match.Other incentive programs.PTO and Paid Holidays.
