If you have experience managing software development teams while staying engaged in coding, this unique opportunity is for you!What You’ll Do:In this hybrid role, you'll take on a dual responsibility:Scrum Master (SM) Duties: Guide and mentor the software development team, remove blockers, and ensure Agile best practices are followed.Development Activities: Use your programming skills to contribute directly to our software projects, working in C# or C++ across the full development life cycle.Core Responsibilities:Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Collaborate with the development team to identify, prioritize, and assign tasks.Contribute as a developer to critical projects, using your experience in C# or C++.Manage and track work using Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, Crucible).Ensure team alignment with Agile methodologies and help remove obstacles to keep the team focused and productive.Maintain clear and proactive communication with stakeholders, fostering collaboration across the organization.Be onsite daily, ensuring team cohesion and smooth workflow within core working hours.Must-Haves:Active Secret Clearance and ability to work onsite full-time.2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master on a Software Development team.Proficiency using ALM tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Crucible.A deep understanding of Agile methodologies and a passion for enabling high-performing teams.Ideal Candidate Profile:Programming Experience: Proficient in C# or C++, with hands-on experience as a developer in a full software development life cycle (SDLC).Agile Leadership: Adept at balancing Scrum Master responsibilities with active software development.Experience in real-time, multi-threaded, multi-process software development.Familiarity with Windows UI development frameworks like WPF, .NET, and XAML.Experience working with Linux and Windows Operating Systems in a development context.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and commitment to quality in all phases of development.SAFe Scrum Master certification is a plus.Affinity for the Aerospace & Defense Industry and familiarity with complex system-of-systems environments.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex tasks and solve challenging technical problems.Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.Why Join Us?Innovative Projects: Work on exciting, high-impact projects in the Aerospace & Defense industry.Collaboration & Growth: Join a dedicated and talented team, where collaboration and learning are at the core of what we do.Hybrid Role: Flex your technical muscles by staying hands-on in development while leading an Agile team as a Scrum Master.Ready to take the next step in your career while making a tangible impact on mission-critical projects?Apply now and bring your expertise to our innovative team!
