*Pipefitter – Fabrication Shop**Pay:* $25.00-$35.00/hour (Based on Experience)*Schedule:* Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMPosition SummaryWe are seeking an experienced *Pipefitter* to join a fabrication shop team. This position is responsible for assembling, fitting, and fabricating piping systems in a controlled shop environment to support commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret blueprints and isometric drawings, perform pipe layout and fit-up, and work closely with welders and fabricators to produce high-quality piping assemblies while maintaining a safe work environment.Responsibilities* Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping specifications.* Measure, verify, and prepare pipe cut lengths according to drawings.* Perform pipe layout, fitting, and assembly in the fabrication shop.* Position and secure piping components for welding.* Inspect fabricated assemblies for accuracy and quality.* Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and pipe fabrication machinery.* Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and shop organization.* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.* Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures.* Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications* *2+ years of pipefitting experience* in a fabrication shop or construction environment preferred.* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications.* Experience working with carbon steel and stainless-steel piping.* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.* Proficiency in pipe layout, measuring, and fitting techniques.* Ability to troubleshoot and solve fabrication issues.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Strong communication and organizational skills.* Must be able to successfully pass a *MIG Positioner Rollout Certification on a 2" Schedule 80 weld test.*Education* High School Diploma or GED required.* Trade school or vocational training preferred.Physical Requirements* Ability to stand for extended periods.* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.* Ability to work safely in a fabrication shop environment.Requirements* OSHA 10 certification preferred.* Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.* Must successfully complete a *MIG Positioner Rollout Certification on a 2" Schedule 80 weld test* as part of the hiring process.Interview Process* Initial Teams interview may be available.* Final interview is conducted *in person* and includes the required weld certification test.#IND2Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourWork Location: In person
