Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Camarillo, CA, for an Agronomist. The Agronomist will work closely with growers and PCAs to provide advice and solutions for optimal crop production. Primary responsibilities include conducting soil and plant health assessments, recommending irrigation and fertilization strategies, and applying plant nutrition knowledge to improve yields. The role may also involve researching and developing sustainable agricultural practices tailored to customer needs. Qualifications Knowledge of Soil Science and a strong understanding of soil health and managementPractical experience in Agriculture and Irrigation techniquesProficiency in Plant Nutrition and the ability to craft tailored solutions to enhance crop yieldsStrong Research skills with a focus on sustainability and innovation in agricultureExcellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work on-site in Camarillo, CA, and travel locally to collaborate directly with growers and PCAsBachelor's degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Agriculture, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)Experience in the agricultural industry with a focus on crop protection and fertility is a plus
