Warehouse Supervisor

eGourmet Solutions is a National Fulfillment and Logistics Company specializing in the E-Commerce business of frozen, refrigerated and dry perishable goods. We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our expanding team. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the overall safety, all operations and productivity metrics of the warehouse. This role will enforce best practices and increase efficiencies of our warehouse with active engagement and accountability with the local production team and as a facilitator between other teams.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:StaffingConduct new employee orientationsMonitor attendance, PTO, etc.Ensure team is motivatedTrain and cross-train staffSafetyEngage in proactive safety training to prevent injuriesTrack and report all injuries and accidentsEnsure facility freezers and coolers are functioning as expected at all timesEnsure facility repairs are made timelyEnsure the cold chain is not broken at anytimeInbound/Outbound operationsEstablish relationships with all vendors, including carriersPlan trailer and carrier pickups and deliveriesAccurate and timely printing, processing and shipping of ordersAccurate and timely receiving of inbound trailersAccurate and timely loading of outbound trailersRepack operationsAccurate and timely repacking of productEnsure all food safety protocols are followed at all timesComplianceMonitor access to the facility, including visitors, drivers and staffEnsure logs are kept up to dateTrain and enforce all EGS SOPs, including personnel safety and food safetyEnsure facility is in compliance with FDA, USDA and Health dept regulationsCommunicationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCommunicate clearly and professionally on a daily basis with direct supervisor as well as other departmentsBuilding maintenanceMonitor refrigeration temperatures and engage Landlord/Refrigeration company in the event of a temperature deviationMonitor building damage – report to management regarding cause and repairPerformance MetricsMaintain required staffing metrics (orders per manhour and cases repacked per manhour)Clear orders dailyOther metrics, as determined by managementQualificationsOne year of supervisor fulfillment experience.Working flexible hours to accommodate completion of daily assignments including some weekends if necessary.Detail-oriented.Ability to work in a freezer at -5 degrees F.Ability to lift up to 60-lbs continuously throughout the day.Forklift certification.Professional written and verbal skills.Ability to lead by example.Ability to anticipate possible issues.Ability to exercise good judgement in a fast-paced environment.Military experience a plus.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A dynamic and supportive work environment focused on innovation and improvement.Job Type: Full-time
