At KCC, we value a team-first culture and a commitment to doing the job right.Job Title: Project Manager - Earthwork/GradingLocation: Mesa, AZPay Range: $85,000 – DOE annually *Based on experience and job stability demonstrated on resume*RequirementsTop Requirements:3–5+ years of experience in a Project Manager role within heavy civil constructionStrong background in earthwork, grading, mass excavation, and site development projectsExperience managing grading operations, haul operations, erosion control, and site balancing activitiesStrong leadership skills with the ability to self-manage and lead project teams in fast-paced field environmentsProficient in project scheduling, cost tracking, and coordination of field operations and subcontractorsKey ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of heavy civil earthwork and grading projects from budget through closeoutCoordinate project schedules, equipment utilization, manpower, procurement, and material logisticsTrack and manage budgets, production costs, quantities, forecasting, and WIP reportingMonitor field operations to ensure safety, quality, and production goals are achievedCoordinate grading operations including site prep, excavation, import/export, embankment, and finish grading activitiesManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and client communicationLead and mentor Project Engineers and field support staff while working closely with Superintendents and ForemenServe as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and inspectors to ensure project success and customer satisfactionTravel to project sites as required (travel expenses covered)SummaryPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, HCSS, PlanSwift, Smartsheet, and/or MS ProjectOSHA 30 CertificationPMP Certification and/or advanced education preferredWhat We OfferEmployee Ownership – ESOP ParticipationCompetitive SalaryMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife & Disability Insurance401(k) Plan with Company MatchPaid Time Off (PTO)Weekly PayEqual Opportunity Employer StatementKinkaid Civil Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
