Job Summary:
New Patterns ABA - MA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Tech to join our team in Barnstable, MA. As a Behavior Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, individualized ABA therapy to children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our mission is to empower individuals to reach their full potential, and we're seeking a motivated and caring professional to help us achieve this goal.
Responsibilities:
Provide in-home and community-based ABA therapy services to clients, focusing on skill-building, behavior reduction, and increasing independence
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team
Collect and record data to track client progress, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
Build strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers to ensure a comprehensive and supportive approach
Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, services provided, and progress
Requirements:
0 years of experience as a Behavior Tech, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, special education) preferred
Passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:
Our in-home and community-based ABA therapy services take place in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, schools, and community centers
Behavior Techs work on a per diem basis, with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of our clients
