Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Job Description Ali Medical Transport is one of the regional leaders in non-emergency medical transportation. We transport clients daily to dialysis, medical appointments, and group homes.We seek qualified and skilled nonemergency medical transportation drivers thatll be tasked with transporting our clients. In this role youll work intimately with our clients, facilities, and dispatch to ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of our most vital asset - our clients.Responsibilities of the role include:Safely loading, transporting, and unloading immobile and wheelchair bound clients by stretcher or wheelchair accessible minivansAssisting clients into stretchers and wheelchairs and properly securing in vehicleMaintaining constant communication with dispatchEnsuring the transport vehicles are properly mechanically maintained and cleanLogging all transports on applicable devices and sheetsCross-train and perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Be able to lift 100+ pounds transferring patients to stretcher, vehicle, and appointmentClean driving record - No more than 2 traffic infractions in the past 3 yearsMust be able to pass background check and drug screeningsIntimate knowledge of the Richmond metro area (zip codes, streets, regions)Strong digital, phone, and written communication skillsOrganized, neat, technological aptitudeEffective at managing competing, high-level priorities - must be able to manage periods of stressful workloadHours:6:00am to 6:00pmMonday to FridayWeekend work availableOvertime availableCome work for one of the largest NEMT providers in the central region of VA.
