This role will focus on SharePoint migrations, Microsoft 365 modernization, Power Automate workflow development, and enterprise governance alignment within a highly regulated environment.

Position Overview
The SharePoint Developer will support enterprise SharePoint modernization initiatives including:
SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online migrations
OpenText Documentum D2 migration support
Power Automate workflow modernization
Workflow redevelopment and automation
Content governance and metadata alignment
Business stakeholder collaboration and validation
This role requires strong expertise in Microsoft 365, SharePoint architecture, migration methodologies, and workflow automation.
Key ResponsibilitiesSharePoint Migration & Modernization
Analyze existing SharePoint 2016 environments, document libraries, metadata structures, and permissions
Design and execute phased migrations to SharePoint Online and OpenText Documentum D2
Preserve metadata, version history, permissions, and folder hierarchy during migration activities
Coordinate migration activities with Microsoft 365 governance and administration teams
Configure and utilize approved SharePoint migration tools
Validate migrated content for integrity, completeness, and compliance
Power Automate Workflow Development
Inventory and assess legacy SharePoint 2013 workflows
Redesign and rebuild workflows within Microsoft Power Automate
Develop cloud flows, approval workflows, scheduled flows, and integrations
Create advanced conditional logic, dynamic branching, and multi-step automations
Support integrations across Microsoft 365 platforms including Teams and Outlook
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, optimization, and workflow documentation
Content Governance & Business Engagement
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and content review sessions
Assist business units with content disposition and records retention alignment
Create content disposition matrices and migration validation reports
Support governance initiatives including sensitivity labels and retention policies
Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to client stakeholders
Quality Assurance & Validation
Execute migration validation plans and reconciliation activities
Maintain issue tracking, status reporting, and migration run logs
Conduct post-migration validation and workflow testing
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
Required Qualifications
5+ years of SharePoint Online development and administration experience
5+ years of Power Automate development experience
5+ years supporting enterprise SharePoint migration initiatives
Experience migrating SharePoint 2013, 2016, or 2019 environments
Strong expertise with:
SharePoint Online
SharePoint 2016 architecture
Power Automate cloud flows
Microsoft 365 governance
SharePoint migration toolsets
Experience rebuilding SharePoint Designer workflows into Power Automate
Strong understanding of:
Site collections
Managed metadata
Content types
Permissions inheritance
Document lifecycle management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently within remote delivery environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting utilities, government agencies, or regulated enterprises
Experience with OpenText Documentum D2
Experience using FME Migration-Center
Experience with:
SharePoint Subscription Edition (SPSE)
Microsoft Purview
Retention policies
Sensitivity labels
API integrations within Power Automate
Agile delivery experience
Strong troubleshooting and migration validation capabilities
