The facility maintains strong support services including 24-hour anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology availability.Opportunity:Physician (MD) - Emergency MedicineJob Details:• Standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a)• Multiple dates available throughout June 2026• Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift• Daily patient volume ranges from 90-100 patients• Coverage model includes 1 physician with 2 mid-level providers for split coverage• EMR system: Meditech 6.1• Open ICU available• Must be North Carolina Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS• Board certification required• Active North Carolina medical license required• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days• Hospital-owned apartment housing provided• Travel costs capped at $500• Support services include 24-hour anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology• L&D department on-site but newborn deliveries not received in EDCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
