Machine Operator -1st ShiftStatesville, NC 28625Employment Type: Contract to Perm Job Category: Industrial Job Number: 55338799 Pay Rate: $18.50 / hour Training Schedule (7 AM 3:30 PM). Then move to the second shift (10 AM 6:30 PM) $18.50 an hrAssist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of production machines.Review and follow the daily production schedule and adapt as necessary to changes.Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.Work adjusted schedules if requested to meet company needs.Ensure quality product is being delivered to the customer.Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations (PPE and Forklift restrictions).Follow all company policies and guidelines.Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.Handle material handling needs if a forklift driver is unavailable.Support the training needs of new employees.All other duties as outlined by the shift supervisor or management team.Qualifications:A strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of handheld tools.Experience in fast paced production environments.Ability to work and communicate well with others.Ability to safely lift 40 pounds without assistance.Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.Experience with automated machinery is a bonus.Forklift experience is a bonus.Basic understanding of computers is a bonus.
