Sales Manager

A growing leader in corrosion prevention and asset integrity solutions is seeking a high-impact Sales Manager to drive business growth across North America within the Oil & Gas sector.This is not a transactional sales role. We are looking for a true hunter—someone who understands how to navigate complex industrial sales cycles, build trusted relationships, and introduce engineered solutions into a highly relationship-driven industry.The ideal candidate already has established connections within terminal operators, midstream pipeline operators, refineries, or major oil & gas organizations and thrives in technical, long-cycle sales environments.What You’ll Be DoingOwn and grow a North American territory focused on Oil & Gas asset integrity solutionsDevelop strategic account plans and build relationships across engineering, integrity management, operations, procurement, and executive leadership teamsDrive new business development and proactively open doors with new customers and facilitiesLead technical trials, pilots, demonstrations, and commercial conversionsPartner closely with engineering, R&D, and technical teams to develop customized solutionsManage relationships with distributors, contractors, and installation partnersRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade associations including AMPP/NACE, API, ILTA, PRCI, and INGAAMaintain CRM pipeline activity, forecasting, and account reportingTravel extensively to customer sites, industry events, and corporate meetingsWhat They’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree required; engineering or technical degree strongly preferred10+ years of outside sales experience selling technical or engineered solutions into Oil & GasStrong background working with:Storage tank terminalsMidstream pipelinesRefineriesCorrosion prevention or asset integrity solutionsExisting relationships with decision-makers in corrosion engineering, integrity management, operations, procurement, or engineeringExperience managing long-cycle technical sales involving pilots and field trialsStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak technically and commerciallySelf-motivated hunter mentality with a proven track record of opening and growing accountsAbility to work independently from a home office while traveling extensivelyPreferred ExperienceKnowledge of API 650 / 653 standards, pipeline integrity regulations, cased crossings, or corrosion mitigationExperience launching new technologies into conservative industrial marketsAMPP/NACE certifications or similar industry credentialsExisting involvement in industry organizations and trade groupsWhy This Opportunity Stands OutEstablished product credibility with major operators and oil companiesHighly visible role with strong growth potentialCompetitive base salary plus uncapped commission structureRemote flexibility with strong internal technical supportOpportunity to work with innovative corrosion mitigation technologies already trusted by major industry players
