Our facility is currently seeking dedicated physicians to cover OB Labor and Delivery shifts during a period of staffing transition, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive support.What You'll Do:Provide expert obstetric care in a fast-paced hospital setting, managing high-risk and low-risk pregnancies, performing deliveries including C-sections and VBACs and collaborating closely with OB residents and nursing staff. Cover shifts primarily on weekends and select weekday hours, contributing to a supportive team committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.Required Skills:Valid medical license in OhioBoard certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & GynecologyProven experience managing high-volume L&D unitsStrong clinical judgment in high-risk obstetric scenariosExcellent communication and teamwork skillsNice to Have Skills:Ultrasound interpretation proficiencyExperience with OB procedures such as operative deliveries and gynecological surgeriesPrior work in teaching or hospital-based environmentsFamiliarity with EMR systems like EPICTPreferred Education and Experience:MD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolAt least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience in a level III NICU setting preferredDemonstrated ability to handle diverse obstetric cases with confidenceOther Requirements:Availability for scheduled shifts on specific dates in July and August 2026Ability to work in a Level 4 L&D unit with Level 1 nursery supportWillingness to travel (if applicable) and undergo credentialing processesCertification in current ACLS/PALSWilling to participate in ongoing education and hospital protocolsStep into a rewarding role that combines professional growth with flexible scheduling and competitive pay at $19.50/hour.
