Manufacturing Engineer
Manufacturing EngineerWe’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to provide hands-on engineering support to our manufacturing and industrial engineering teams. This role focuses on improving production methods, equipment layout, tooling, and material utilization to increase safety, quality, and throughput.You’ll work closely with CNC programmers, machining personnel, and tooling/equipment vendors to drive process improvements and capital projects on the shop floor.What You’ll Do:Lead and support projects that maximize production through optimal use of machines, tools, methods, and time.Develop and recommend new/advanced manufacturing methods, automation, machinery, and tooling.Plan and implement new equipment and process changes, including cost justifications and project plans.Coordinate tooling evaluations, make recommendations, and oversee application testing.Prepare reports, analyses, and documentation in line with company guidelines.Stay current on best practices and new technologies in manufacturing and engineering.Support Lean/Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.What We’re Looking For:B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or foreign equivalent); advanced degree preferred.2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment.Project management experience, especially with capital equipment and/or facility improvements.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (or similar CAD), and ERP systems (SAP preferred).Strong communication skills and ability to work across all levels of the organization.For higher-level roles: experience in machining (especially horizontal boring), with solid knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and applied math for machining.Nice to Have:P.E. licenseExperience leading Lean / Kaizen events or other continuous improvement efforts.If you’re a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys improving processes, implementing new equipment, and partnering closely with operations, we’d like to talk.
