MachinistOur client, a leader in aerospace manufacturing is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production of precision aerospace components. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: MachinistLocation: Irvine, CAPay Range: $34Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM - Monday to Friday (training will be on first shift)What's the Job?Perform operations such as drilling, tapping, reaming, and boring on various workpieces, ensuring dimensional accuracy.Create setups and operate CNC machines according to specific programs and work instructions using DNC links.Work from engineering drawings and specifications, utilizing a variety of precision measuring instruments.Read and interpret engineering drawings with an understanding of geometric tolerances.Inspect finished work and complete all necessary inspection paperwork, maintaining quality standards.What's Needed?High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Minimum of five (5) years of previous work experience as a Machinist.Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.Experience with Lathe operations, particularly 2-3 axis (Mazak experience preferred).Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and use various measuring tools.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment.Consistent work schedule with training on first shift.Chance to develop your skills with advanced machining equipment and techniques.Supportive team environment focused on safety and quality.Potential for career growth within a leading aerospace organization.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
